We’re off on our summer holidays soon, I’m trying not to think about the whole idea of my first holiday with a baby and all of the stuff i’m going to bring, I mean, don’t get me wrong, i’ve been buying things that have been popping into my head for the last 5 weeks, but, i’ve promised myself that i’m not going to get stressed over it!
So, in this post i’m not going to go too much into detail about the baby products that i’ll be bringing with me, i’ll leave that until later on in the week, this post is about the top 5 things that I will be bringing with me, for me.
Really, these are my favourite things, rather than essentials, but saying that, they have become essentials!

I was kindly sent a few goodies from beauty base to try out, as a new mum, my makeup essentials have to be either a concealer or a lip gloss, so I was really excited to try these two products. I’ve been using both of them for the past two weeks and I have to say that the lip gloss is especially my favourite, I wanted a bright colour as I want to take it away on holiday with me and i’m hoping that once I have a tan, I can wear this on it’s own, hopefully without any other makeup! What I loved most about this lip product was that it stayed on, as a mum constantly running after a crawling 8 month old on the go, I have not got time to look in the mirror constantly to check my makeup or even to re-apply it after a sip of my drink, so this was great, I had a drink, I ate dinner, I chatted and it was still there on my lips, hours later. The only thing I didn’t do was kiss baby’s skin, as I find this with most lip products, obviously it then transfers onto baby’s skin, they’re skin is delicate, so personally, I would just rather not when i’m wearing lipstick. It’s quite pigmented this lip gloss, so you don’t need to layer it on. The concealer has been easy to glide on and rub in without looking clunky or creased, i’m planning on using these more over the next few weeks, so I will post a few photos soon.
In the meantime, I will continue using these products and it you want to know more about them in ‘real-time’ then follow my Insta-stories @danieladamico_ .
